Developers

Check, price and register domains from your own code or an AI agent. There's a REST API for your account, MCP servers for Claude, Cursor and other clients, and a public price feed. The availability check, search and price feed need no key.

Try it

curl "https://www.orbitfour.com/api/v1/domains/check?names=example.com"

No account and no key

REST API

Register, renew and transfer domains, manage DNS records and contacts, fund your prepaid balance, and get webhooks when something changes on your account.

Send an API key in the Authorization: Bearer o4_live_... header. An account owner creates keys under Account → API keys and gives each one only the scopes it needs. Registering, renewing or transferring in a domain needs billing:write as well as domains:write; a balance deposit needs only billing:write.

domains:read domains:write domains:transfer dns:read dns:write contacts:read contacts:write account:read billing:write webhooks:write

MCP servers

Public server

https://www.orbitfour.com/mcp

Check availability, search for names, read an extension's requirements and check a transfer. No account and no key.

Your account

https://www.orbitfour.com/mcp/account

Your domains, DNS records, contacts and billing, one tool per REST operation. Connect with an API key, or sign in from a hosted client like Claude.

Availability and search

Price feed

Together with the public MCP server, these allow 30 requests a minute per IP address; Claude and ChatGPT connectors, which share their providers' addresses, get a higher limit. Over the limit, you get HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header.

For AI agents

  • GET/llms.txt

A short index of everything on this page, in the llms.txt format.

  • GET/llms-full.txt

The integration guide: step-by-step workflows, every error code and when to retry it, and the registry rules the spec can't express.
